After witnessing the healing of my mother by Christian Science I took up its study, for I realized that it must be the same truth which Jesus taught and practised. During the four years that have passed since that time, we have had numerous proofs of Truth's healing power, the most recent being at the birth of our little girl. The birth was painless, no one being present but myself and husband. After the first day I took all the care of myself and baby, while the fifth day I resumed the housework,—and I may say that we live on a farm. The baby was healthy and good, but all at once she began to be fretful and refused to nurse. After three days I discovered a hard white growth appearing under her tongue, and I applied the truth as taught in Science and Health. She immediately began to take her natural nourishment and to sleep well. The next day the growth had disappeared.

One of our little boys, aged two, was knocked down in a narrow gateway, and twelve cows fought and tramped over him until they had crowded through the gate; but although he was taken up unconscious, he was running about and playing in less than a half-hour. Our oldest boy had lung and bronchial trouble, before we came to Christian Science, and he was under the doctor's care continually during the winter months. Now, however, he is a strong, robust boy, without a sign of these ailments, and since we have been receiving the blessings of Christian Science his disposition has improved wonderfully.

We are certainly thankful to God for the understanding of Truth, gained through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy.
