One morning I woke up feeling very unwell, my throat...

One morning I woke up feeling very unwell, my throat troubling me a good deal; but I went to business as usual, trying to realize the truth of being. I became worse, however, and being unable to do my work, I was sent to the doctor who was on the premises. On looking at my throat she said she was afraid I had contracted a malignant disease, but after consulting another doctor it was declared to be a milder form of the trouble. I was sent home immediately and went to bed. I then asked my mother to write to a Christian Science practitioner, who at once commenced to treat me. I gradually improved, and in three days was perfectly well, passed the doctor's examination, and was able to resume my work.

For this and many other blessings I am very thankful to God, who gives all things that are good.
