I wish to testify to the healing and saving power of Christian Science. Shortly after I first heard of it, I was almost instantaneously healed of a bowel disorder of long standing. My little boy was healed at the same time of the same difficulty. This was in the summer of 1905. Last year I had a very severe attack of hemorrhoids, for which I was obliged to write to a Christian Science practitioner for help. Almost as soon as I applied for treatment I had relief, and though I was not quite healed for a little while, the trouble eventually left entirely. Only recently I had a wonderful proof of God's care and protection, when my little boy, aged nine years, fell from a tree, and according to the doctor's diagnosis dislocated his elbow very badly. The doctor was surprised at how little he suffered and how quickly he progressed. I, however, helped as far as my understanding went, and I also wired a practitioner for treatment.

I have had many proofs of the healing power of Christian Science, and also of the comfort this teaching affords in times of trouble and anxiety. I am deeply thankful to our Father, and also grateful to Mrs. Eddy.
