From the age of twelve, I was for many years a sufferer from rheumatism, and was confined in bed for periods of from one week to two months. I also suffered a long time from catarrh and stomach trouble. I employed several physicians, but never received more than temporary relief.

It is now over thirteen years since I first heard of Christian Science. I became interested in it through the healing of a former neighbor, who was cured of an abnormal growth, and through the healing of several relatives. I asked for treatment for catarrh, and in two days was able to breathe freely through my nose,—something I had not been able to do for many years. Soon I was entirely healed of this, as well as of all the other ills. I have depended on Christian Science alone ever since, and during all these years have lost but one day from business on account of sickness. I am now in perfect health.

I am very grateful for my healing, but much more for the spiritual uplift I have received through the truth revealed to us by Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health, which has indeed been a "Key to the Scriptures" to me. These teachings have brought to my consciousness an understanding of God as ever-present Love, which heals and purifies.
