Through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures"...

Through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I was healed of an abdominal trouble from which I had suffered several years, and the only alternative offered me was an operation. At this time I was also able to lay aside glasses which I had worn fourteen years for defective vision. Human language is inadequate to express the joy and peace that have come to me through the study of Christian Science. I am indeed grateful for many blessings received, and am each day striving to "lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us," and to run "with patience the race that is set before us." The Bible has been unfolded to me in its beauty and holiness, and in my home, where love seemed always to abound, I have been privileged to see each member experience a far greater degree of harmony through this wonderful truth.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to God that I have been so gently and lovingly led at all times, and instructed to look ever to the divine Principle of all good for guidance. I am also grateful to the contributors to our Christian Science literature; many healings have been realized through the study of some beautiful thought expressed therein. My heart glows with love to God for the knowledge that each day I may glean a better understanding of Him in whom "we live, and move, and have our being," and to our beloved Leader, who has made it possible for us to know that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494).
