Some time ago my three children, between the ages of six years and nine months, were taken with measles, attended by a high fever and a severe cough. We asked a Christian Science practitioner to treat them, whereupon the healing progressed rapidly. It was winter time and intensely cold, with much snow on the ground, but the children asked me to let them go out. This was just about a week after their attack, but knowing that God is omnipresent, I allowed them to go, and they experienced no ill effects whatever. My youngest girl was taken later with whooping-cough. She had just been vaccinated, and besides was cutting teeth, which caused her a good deal of suffering, and she seemed quite poorly within a few days. I again asked a Christian Science practitioner for treatment, and in two weeks the child recovered and now gives us much joy.

I thank God from the depths of my heart for His gracious protection, and I am also grateful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for having shown us the way to Truth, to the right understanding of God.
