This is to testify to what Christian Science means to me and mine. Nine years ago we heard about it through a relative, who with her child had been healed after many years of suffering, and both are well today. My husband was then very ill; he had taken all kinds of medicine with no benefit whatever, and was getting worse all the time. Every one who saw him said that he was not long for this world; but I had always thought that God could and would heal him if we only knew how to ask aright. He concluded to try Christian Science, so we got a practitioner, with the result that he was out and at work in less than a week. Seeing this, I was so much interested that I began to look into the teaching. I had always read the Bible with a sense of duty, but without understanding. Christian Science has, however, made it a new book to me. For this I am truly grateful, and so thankful that I am able to speak the truth to others when I have opportunity. I do know that all shall "know the truth," and the truth shall make them free, as the Master said it would. I thank God with all my heart for sending Mrs. Eddy to show us the true way our Master taught.—Mrs. Mary W. Neill, Portland, Ore.
