It is with the deepest gratitude that I give my testimony of Truth's healing power. Fourteen years ago I had my first Christian Science treatment, and Truth has been my only guide ever since. Up to that time I knew nothing of Christian Science. I was, and had been for many years, a sufferer from stomach, bowel, and nervous trouble, and had been told by several of our best physicians that they had done all they could do for me. I was gradually getting weaker as the attacks were more severe, and on returning from the doctor's office one day, I met a friend who was a Christian Scientist, but she had never spoken of it to me. She asked me how I was, and in reply I told her that I was no better, that I knew I would not be here long, and had told my family so. She asked me why I did not try Christian Science, as the doctor did not cure me. I said that I would be only too glad to have treatment. I did so, and in that same hour I was healed. Such peace of mind, love, and harmony I had never experienced before.

Christian Science has made me free. There have been some most beautiful demonstrations in our home, one in childbirth, which proved the greatness of the blessing which comes to all who trust our heavenly Father. I am indeed grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for giving us in Science and Health the "Key to the Scriptures," which makes it possible for all to know this great truth.
