Thirteen years ago I was healed of a complication of diseases which no method of materia medica could reach or even relieve, through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Midnight darkness seemed to enclose me on all sides, but out of this awful hopeless gloom came the "still small voice" of Truth in its almighty power and presence as revealed through Christian Science. I read the text-book almost constantly for a year, and at the end of that time was healed, without any other help, although I have had help through a practitioner many times since. The theology in this book is the truth of which Jesus spoke when he said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." That it may encourage any who are doubting and halting because they think they cannot understand the book, let me say to such that they should go on, keep on reading, and healing will be realized. I could understand very little when I began the book, but as I continued to read the light kept coming. If one is persistent and faithful, reading on without prejudice, he will be healed, whether he fully understands the teaching or not.

I thank God for His gift of Christian Science which has come to us through our faithful Leader, Mrs. Eddy. This gift is available for all to read, understand, and be helped. Divine Love is no respecter of persons, but blesses and heals all who will accept the truth.
