I wish to tell of an experience I passed through in November, 1911, in the form of a severe cold and bloodpoisoning, which affected one of my limbs. To all appearance it was one of the most serious sicknesses I had ever had, but it was overcome in a short time by Christian Science treatments, for which I am very grateful. At the same time it gave me an opportunity to gain further insight into the truth of Christian Science, and to understand better the divine Principle that heals. Although I had been reading Science and Health and the other literature for quite a while, I did not get the spiritual understanding and enlightenment which came to me with this healing. I am still trying to learn more of the truth as expressed in Christian Science, and pray ever, "Lead Thou me on."
