I wish to tell what Christian Science has done for me, as...
I wish to tell what Christian Science has done for me, as I suffered for many years with rheumatism and a disease of the bowels, also female and heart troubles. I have been studying Christian Science for about seven years, and although my healing has been slow, I am thankful for it, as I have gained more in the way of spiritual quickening. I had to study in order to gain the healing, and I have had the pleasure of helping others. I have also had the opportunity of taking class instruction, for which I am very thankful. The fear and nervousness have been overcome, and the ninety-first and fifty-first psalms have been a great help to me.
I was treated by a good many physicians, and was told by them that I might pass away at any time; but through the understanding of the Bible and Science and Health I have been able to overcome all of these ills. I hope this testimony may help some one else as I have been helped, through reading the Bible and Science and Health. I wish to express my deepest gratitude to God for His love and care, and also to our dear Leader, who has taught us this truth that makes us free. I desire that my life may attest my sincerity.
Mrs. Hannah E. Embury, Estherville, Iowa.
