I am thankful for all that Christian Science has done for me. Through the loss of my husband's health, he was long out of work, and consequent financial losses made it necessary for me to help by earning what I could; but I was finally so weakened by worry and a heart trouble of many years' standing, that I could not continue. A friend then advised me to try Christian Science, and after gaining permission from my husband, who at first objected, I secured the address of a practitioner from the Science reading-room and called on her. She gave me a short talk followed by silent treatment, and I felt so much better that I went away feeling assured of strength being given for the work I needed to do. After several treatments I was so much better that I was again able to help in earning money by sewing. I had been wearing glasses for five years, and one day I said to the Scientist that I felt this to be a great bondage. She answered that I should lay them off, that in God is our sight; so I began to leave them off when at home, but still used them when sewing for others. I was then told not to fear if I forgot to take them with me; and when this happened one day, I trusted God and sewed all day without fear or pain, and I have used glasses since, now two years ago.

For this deliverance I thank God, and I am truly grateful for the kindness shown in helping me to understand Christian Science.—Mrs. K. Pauli, Burton, Ohio.
