Christian Science has for over forty years proved the truth of its teachings through demonstration; and today, through its efficacy, there are thousand of intelligent men and women from all walks of life bearing testimony to benefits received, spiritually, mentally, and physically. Christian Science is revealed truth. This spiritual enlightenment came to Mrs. Eddy through her research of the Scriptures, and this inspiration came from the same source that revealed to St. John the new heaven and the new earth.

The teachings of Christian Science do not subtract from or add to the truths of the Bible, nor do they eliminate any of its teachings. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," the text-book of Christian Science, is a commentary or Bible help; it gives the spiritual interpretation of the word of God and the works of our Lord and Master as found in the King James version of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. It is not uncommon for ministers and Bible students to have and use Bible helps; then it should not be thought sacrilegious for Christian Scientists to have their commentary, which illumines the Scriptures and enables mankind to prove the truth found therein. On page 14 we read: "Entirely separate from the belief and dream of material living, is the Life divine, revealing spiritual understanding and the consciousness of man's dominion over the whole earth. This understanding casts out error and heals the sick, and with it you can speak 'as one having authority.'"

Through the revelation of the Christ-truth as taught in Christian Science, the human concept gives place to the divine idea, in evidence of a Principle that can be understood and demonstrated.
