I would like to add my expression of sincerest gratitude...
I would like to add my expression of sincerest gratitude for all the benefits I have experienced through Christian Science. In 1909 an abdominal trouble of a stubborn nature manifested itself, and for a whole year caused me terrible suffering, so that it became utterly impossible for me to attend to my household duties. We applied to a specialist in Spandau, under whose care I remained six weeks; but there being no indication of improvement, we went to another physician for women's diseases, who agreed perfectly with the former physician's diagnosis. I spent nine months under his care, but to no avail; for although I was relieved of the pain somewhat, I did not get well.
One day, when life seemed a burden, a dear friend told me about Christian Science. I had never heard of it before, but I felt as if a hope had arisen within me. I anxiously asked for some copies of Der Herold der Christian Science to read (which were gladly handed to me), and having quickly made up my mind to follow my innermost desire, I decided to put all my trust in God. We now went to Berlin, in order to call on a practitioner. She gave me several treatments, with the marvelous result that I recovered my health, and felt better than ever before in my life. In the spring of 1911 I became afflicted with a sore foot, which was healed with a few treatments in a wonderful way; and when some time ago I fell and injured myself, the practitioner lent me her faithful assistance, and the pain disappeared as quickly as it had set in.
Words fail to express the gratitude I feel that our heavenly Father should thus have caused the light of Truth and Love to shine into my life, for I now have the certainty that there can be no evil or inharmonious workings in His child. I am also grateful to Mrs. Eddy for having again brought to the world this wondrous revelation of the Christ-power.—Frau Anna Krüger, Parey a. Elbe, Germany.
