It is now over two years since I took up Christian Science

It is now over two years since I took up Christian Science. At that time I was what people call a nervous wreck. I had a great fear of death and also of losing my mind. I was troubled with hay-fever and heart disease, and my father having passed on as a result of the latter diesase, I naturally had a great fear of it. At the time I took up Christian Science our little boy, now three years old, had a bowel disorder for which medicine was given him almost daily. At this time I had taken a position as shoe clerk in a department store, but was ready to give it up on account of my illness. When, however, the truth was presented to me I accepted it gladly, as I had tried medical treatment under three of the best physicians in the town in which I live, besides special electrical treatment and a trip South where I drank mineral water recommended for the nerves, but from all this treatment I received little or no benefit.

After giving up all material remedies and taking Christian Science treatment from a practitioner, while at the same time reading our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, these ills were overcome. I also sought help in Christian Science for the little boy, and he was healed with a very few treatments and has taken no medicine since. I was able to retain my place at the store and with an increase in salary. I feel that I can never thank God enough for all the good that has come to me through Christian Science. I am truly grateful to Mrs. Eddy for expressing this truth to the world in a way which all may understand, and I hope that I may so live the truth as to bring others into Christian Science.
