I wish to express my gratitude for the blessing that Christian Science has been to myself and all my family, and especially for my wonderful cure. For twenty years I had suffered from stomach, liver, and lung troubles, and at times with female ailments. My husband sent me to specialists, health resorts, hospitals, sanitariums, but I steadily grew worse. In March, 1910, my husband came home and found me in bed, unable even to sit up, and it was thought that I would not last long. None of our family were Scientists. We had talked to friends about it, but could not believe in it. At last, when all human means had failed, my husband called in a Christian Science practitioner, and within an hour I was sitting up and feeling happy. I was soon doing my housework and going out, and have been gaining ever since. I had not been out in town in two years, but I was soon as if I had never been sick.

I thank God for Christian Science; I thank him for our Leader, Mrs. Eddy. I have been made well by the truth, but I am only a beginner and know that this testimony is poorly expressed, though it comes from one who has been down in the valley of the shadow. I feel, however, that I must in some way express my gratitude to God for opening my eyes to the truth and for pointing me to the Christ-way.
