Every
worker in the field of Christian Science has doubtless found it difficult to impress upon others the important teaching that it is spiritual being and not the material body with which we are to reckon.
In
one of Jesus' parables we read: "This know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
In
frequent trips across the continent, both in the United States and Canada, during which it has been my privilege to visit many Christian Science churches, ranging in size from the stately temple of The Mother Church in Boston to the small newly-formed society where only a handful was gathered together "in his name," I have been deeply impressed with the steady growth of Christian Science and of all the evident blessings that are at hand for the field throughout the entire world.
The teachings of Christian Science relative to Jesus the Christ, and with respect to his relationship to God, are more satisfactory, reasonable, logical, and practical from the view-point of Christian Scientists, than are those of what is called orthodox theology.
According to a report in a late issue, the chairman of the Congregational Union Assembly at Pendleton allowed himself, in the course of an address dealing with the ability of Christianity to fulfil the requirements of a world's religion, to express his not very complimentary estimate of the intellectual capacities of Christian Scientists.

Science and Health we read: "In the figurative transmission from the divine thought to the human, diligence, promptness, and perseverance are likened to the 'cattle upon a thousand hills'".

I am employed in the press department of a publication concern as head pressman, and one morning while preparing for the day's work, after the machinery had been started, I unthinkingly placed my fingers on the composition form rollers of the cylinder press to test the condition of the ink.
In justice to a great cause and in gratitude for the lasting benefits derived by us through Christian Science, we wish to add our testimony to those of the many who have likewise, through the darkness of mortality, caught glorious glimpses of God's eternal sunlight.
I have received benefit from the testimonies of healing in our periodicals, and if there are any who are discouraged over a seeming lack of healing, I hope that my experience may be of benefit to them.
Christian Science has been a blessing in our home, to our four children who have been healed of many ailments, as well as to some of the older ones who have been restored to health.
