Christian Science has been a blessing in our home, to our four children who have been healed of many ailments, as well as to some of the older ones who have been restored to health. One of the little girls, aged eight, woke up one night and seemed quite ill. She treated herself mostly, then went to sleep, and she was the first child up in the morning. I asked her about it, and she said she was all right and was going to school. She said, "I knew that God is Love and that He never made any one sick." She often treats herself and others in the family. About two years ago this child was healed of serious lung trouble. We tried to help her ourselves, but as she grew no better we asked for treatment of a dear Christian Scientist, and in less than two weeks the child was well. There has been no return of the trouble. She is in good health and attends school every day. She says herself that God healed her, and she is a very happy girl.

The other little girl was healed of a serious illness when she was a little child. She is now a picture of health, and she clearly sees the difference between truth and error, as all children do when taught in this way. Even in reading their story books or playing games they apply the truth as they understand it.

One of the little boys woke up one morning and was not able to go to school. He ate nothing, and seemed to feel very badly. We tried to overcome it, but he did not seem to recover. In the afternoon a friend who is a Scientist called me up on the telephone, and I told her about it. She talked to me and sent him some loving messages. In a very short time he arose, dressed, and ate a hearty dinner, then romped and played the rest of the day. When he was getting up he said to me, "Why, mama, I am all well, and this is not the first time that Christian Science has healed me either." He was healed in one night of a boil, by the treatment of his brother two years older. This older boy was healed of a bowel trouble when he was small. He was also helped another time so that he could return to school after having been dismissed as sick.
