It is now about eight years that I have been enjoying the privileges and blessings of Christian Science as revealed through our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy. I came to Christian Science as a last resort for an eye trouble which an oculist had treated the greater part of the time for six years, and finally decided that an operation was necessary, the result of which would be very doubtful. As I was anxious to continue my school studies, I reluctantly turned to Christian Science for help, although at that time I had no faith in it, and was even antagonistic to what I thought it to be. The result was that the glasses I had worn for six years were taken off at the first treatment, and I have never needed them since. The abnormal condition was perfectly overcome in three months' treatment. After this healing I commenced to study the text-book of Christian Science, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and have found its teachings sufficient for every need.

I wish to express my appreciation of the Christian Science periodicals, including the Lesson-Sermons, which are a constant help. I am indeed thankful to God, also to our Leader, for the healing. This is only one experience out of many, and I am striving to gain more of an understanding of this blessed truth and thus prove my gratitude.
