AMONG THE CHURCHES

MOSCOW, IDAHO.

First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Moscow, has purchased property, and is now occupying its own church building at the corner of 3rd and Jackson streets. The church building was remodeled from a dwelling-house, and during the past few months has undergone repairs to render it suitable for its new purpose. The location is central and desirable.

First Church was organized in 1907, and previous to this times has occupied rented quarters in the city. The church welcomes this opportunity for increased activity and spiritual growth, and a greater interest is taken in the work than heretofore, prayerfully endeavoring to turn constantly from personality to Principle, from sense to Soul, in gratitude to God.—Correspondence.

CHICAGO, ILL.

The members of Second and Third Churches, at business meetings held March 15, voted unanimously to authorize the issuance of letters of dismissal to about one hundred and fifty persons, who are withdrawing from these churches to form Eleventh Church in Chicago. Second and Third churches have been overcrowded for some time, and a new organization to relieve both was deemed necessary. The new church, when organized, will hold services in the Logan Square district. Officers and members of Second and Third Churches have cooperated in the preliminary steps necessary to the formation of this new church, which is the result of growth and furnishes added proof of the ever increasing interest in Christian Science as taught and demonstrated by Mary Baker Eddy.—Correspondence.

MILWAUKEE, WIS.

Fourth Church of Christ, Scientist, has secured a site for a new edifice, purchasing during the present week [Jan. 21-27] the southeast corner of Kenwood boulevard and Stowell avenue, with one hundred and thirty feet on the boulevard and one hundred and twenty feet frontage on Stowell avenue.

It was said by a member of the board of trustees that the work of excavating for the new edifice would probably be begun as soon as the frost is out of the ground.
