Christian Science came into my life bringing the blessings it always will when correctly used, and proving that God is the source of all supply. It has been a help in all kinds of discord, and I have never called on it in vain, always receiving what was best for my advancement. It has helped me mentally, morally, and financially, and physically my health has been much improved. I was cured of a badly injured ankle in five days; in fact I was kept in the house only one day from it, and the next day was on my feet for fourteen hours. I have been cured of headache instantaneously, and of colds and other forms of disease in a great deal less time than when I depended upon materia medica.

Mentally the tendency to worry has been eliminated, and in its place is the assurance that God provides us daily with all we need. This knowledge has brought about a sense of relief that could not help but give comfort. I have found Christian Science a great help in getting the right employment and the understanding of how to do my work. The knowledge that God is the only Mind, and that we reflect wisdom and understanding from the divine source, gives one little to worry about and much to be thankful for. My habits also are much improved; the things I believed necessary in the way of amusement have steadily left with no sense of loss or longing. I have never felt that I gave up anything for Christian Science, but the many things that have been added to my life are a source of great comfort. I have been studying this truth for six years, and these years have brought more into my life for thanksgiving than any of the others. When we realize that this religion can be used every day and in every experience, we then begin to realize its importance to us all.

I hope that this effort of mine shows some of the gratitude I have for our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and for those who have helped me along the pathway to peace and happiness. I came into this truth with doubt and fear, but as I had tried every other avenue for help, I thought this could do no harm. I was without work, had no means of support, and was willing to try anything for relief, so that when I heard a practitioner say over the telephone these words, "Do not worry, for you know that God is the source of all supply, and that as His child you are an equal inheritor with Jesus;" also that "divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494), I wondered if this were true, and if so why I did not have a position and why was I not in my rightful place. These words kept ringing in my ears so much that finally I thought I would see if this was really true; and this was the reason for my first call on that ever-demonstrable truth.
