AN EXPLANATION

In the Sentinel for Jan. 20 we published a letter from Alfred Farlow in the Christian Standard of Cincinnati, Ohio. That the attitude of the Standard in giving space in its columns to Mr. Farlow's letter may not be misunderstood, we are requested by the editor to explain that this letter did not have his approval, as his comment, which was published in connection with it in the Standard, made entirely clear.
