Over a year ago a trouble which I had felt off and on for some time became so serious that I consulted a physician, who said it was an affection of the nerves in my right arm and shoulder. He also said that as it was of long standing it would take a long time to cure, but the remedies he gave did not relieve me. I could not sleep night or day, and besides being in an agony of pain my arm was helpless, the least movement causing terrible suffering.

I was in this condition for several weeks, until one day actual desperation rather than faith in the curative power of Christian Science led me to go to a practitioner, and during one treatment the pain and lameness nearly disappeared. Inside of ten days I was entirely cured, and have never felt the ailment since. Before I was treated I had long been interested in Christian Science, but had not believed it would cure great physical pain. Now I know that Christian Science can cure every ill, whether of mind or body. It is the greatest blessing that has ever come into my life.
