When the glorious gospel of Christian Science was first...
When the glorious gospel of Christian Science was first brought to my notice, I was practically an invalid; I had exhausted almost all material remedies, and the patience of many physicians as well, without any benefit whatever. Some of the ills of which Christian Science healed me were rheumatism and very severe nervous headaches. I also suffered from extreme weakness, my voice being at times almost inaudible, Besides this, my eyes had been affected since babyhood; but through Christian Science I have been enabled to lay aside glasses, and my eyes are better than they have ever been before. I have seen others, besides myself and relatives, benefited in many ways.
Words are inadequate to express my thanks to God, and to Mrs. Eddy the gratitude I feel for Christian Science. When these beautiful words of Christ Jesus are read, "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; . . . For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light," I realize that truly his yoke is easy and his burden light.
Miss Pearl Bigham, Dallas, Texas.
