I give this testimony in the hope that it may help others. I have been healed in Christian Science of extreme weakness, and heart disease of many years' standing. It is over two years since I first heard of Christian Science, and it has been a great help to me in many ways. I am very thankful to God for the revelation of this truth, and to Mrs. Eddy for her devoted work in the cause. I am also thankful for all help received from members of the church here.

From a heart filled with love and gratitude to God for the truth which proved indeed a very present help in trouble, I desire to acknowledge the instantaneous healing of my two-year-old daughter. During house-cleaning time the baby accidentally got hold of a bottle containing antiseptic tablets which had been used in a case of poisoning. The drug being in crystal form, the baby mistook it for candy and ate over a tablespoonful, when screaming with pain she came running to me, bottle in hand, with her tongue swollen so that she could not close her mouth. I at once snatched the little one up in my arms, and hurried to a Christian Science practitioner who was in the house. By the time I had explained the conditions to the practitioner, the child had turned cold and stiff. Although I was in great fear, I held her in my arms, while the practitioner went to work, and after a few minutes' treatment, to my unutterable joy the tongue was reduced to its normal size and the mouth and lips slowly resumed their natural color. Within half an hour my little one was able to walk around, and within two hours she was perfectly well and ate heartily.
