My attention was first called to Christian Science six years...
My attention was first called to Christian Science six years ago, while teaching in Geneva, N. Y. I had investigated almost every conceivable religious belief, in order to satisfy my intense desire for the truth, before this was presented to me, and I cannot find words to express my gratitude to God for enabling me to find that which meets my every need. I attended the Christian Science service one Sunday, even before I began the study of Science and Health, and never after that returned to the church where I had been a member for years.
I have been benefited in innumerable ways, physically, mentally, and spiritually. I was healed of a chronic kidney trouble in one week's treatment, also of a very sore finger which under the old thought it would have been necessary to have lanced; but the truth was victorious, as under the Science treatment I was able to sleep every night and the healing was completed in about ten days. The spiritual uplift which came through this work was of great value to me. I have always found the Christian Science church services healing in their effect, and many physical ills have been met simply by reading the text-book. Words are indeed inadequate to express my gratitude for Christian Science.
Miss M. Catherine Richards, Fort Edward, N. Y.
