It is with a heart filled with gratitude that I wish to testify to the innumerable blessings which I have received and which I am still receiving through Christian Science. For about ten years I was afflicted with an open sore on the leg and had to secure medical advice. The physicians prescribed for me, but there was no cure. I was also in a clinic for some time, but returned home with my diseased limb just as when I left.

Some four years ago my daughter-in-law from Berlin came on a visit. She drew my attention to Christian Science, and I asked her to treat me. She then sent me a copy of Der Herold der Christian Science regularly every month, and gradually, through reading this periodical, I began to see that God is good alone, and that He is Love. For over two years I have been free of the trouble mentioned, so that now at the age of seventy-two I am able to do all my work without experiencing pain or being inconvenienced. I am deeply grateful to God, infinite good, also to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the truth which makes us free.
