In November, 1909, I was healed through Christian Science of a tubercular growth in the stomach. The torture I had endured I will not describe; two doctors had said I could not possibly get well. After I had been in bed fourteen weeks, and was getting worse daily, a very dear friend told us of Christian Science, and a practitioner was called in. After the first treatment the pain vanished, and on the second day I was able to get out of bed, dress myself, and walk about without any help. After a few days the growth began to disappear, and I have not had any pain or taken any medicine since.

This is not the only benefit I received, as I have been healed of varicose veins, hemorrhoids, and severe heart trouble which often caused me to faint; but now, thanks to God and Christian Science, I feel stronger than I have done for some years. I am able to do my work without feeling the least bit tired, and I hope that my testimony may be the means of bringing some poor sufferer to God for health and happiness such as I have myself experience. My two little girls have been healed of whooping-cough, and I am very thankful that I heard of Christian Science.
