From a heart overflowing with love and gratitude for the many blessings which Christian Science has brought me, I send my testimony, with the hope that it may inspire other seekers after Truth. For five years I suffered from continual headaches, said to be caused by my eyes. I had the best oculists that a university town could offer, but they could only give me temporary relief. In July, 1908, when in a state of despair, with no hope of ever getting any permanent relief, I was led to Christian Science, knowing nothing about its teachings, but longing for escape from my physical and mental conditions. I commenced to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and also to attend the Sunday and Wednesday evening services. About three months later, my glasses fell off, and I put them away and have never had them on since. During this time I have been perfectly free from headaches, see better than I ever did before, and I now use my eyes constantly.

I am truly grateful for the physical healing, but this seems very small compared with the spiritual healing which I have experienced. It has brought into my life joy, peace, and contentment which I had never known before.
