With gratitude in my heart I wish to tell what Christian Science has done for me. At the age of seventy years I was a nervous wreck, physically. I had been treated by many physicians, two of whom were specialists on nervous diseases, and they had pronounced my case locomotorataxia, and said it was incurable. I also took electrical treatment, but received only temporary help. I had taken much medicine, but found no relief. I then lost all faith in drugs, and as a last resort I commenced to investigate Christian Science. I read the Sentinel and Journal, then asked for and received treatment. After the second treatment I found great relief, and had no further use for a cane, though for three years I had not been able to get up steps without help. After a few treatments I could do it without any help. I had a great fear of everything, but this is gone. I had used tobacco for fifty-five years, but now I have no appetite for it.

I am praising God for all these blessings, —not only for the physical healing, but for the understanding of God as Love. I am perfectly well, and was so after a few month's treatment together with the earnest study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I attend the Christian Science service, which I think is a great help. I hope this testimony may encourage some one else who fears that his age may be against him. It has been proven to me that our heavenly Father does not forsake us because of our age.
