Giving all glory to God, and with a consciousness filled with gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, that through divine Love alone I was brought out of a mortal sense of suffering into a knowledge of Truth, I desire to make known my wonderful healing. After a severe attack of inflammation of the bladder, a serious chronic condition appeared in spite of the best medical attention. I suffered constantly for five years, all of which time I had the best that could be done for me by eminent surgeons, but my husband was told I could be cured. My sight had become so impaired that I could not read or write, and I drifted into melancholy, which resulted in nervous depression. I had reached a point of utter hopelessness when divine Love brought me in all humility to the loving ministry of Christian Science. I had taken but six treatments when my load of mortal bondage was completely removed.

It is now over three years, and I have never suffered any sense of pain since. Every vestige of my distress was removed as completely as one erases from a slate the outlines made upon it. I have never had the return of a symptom! I have also had many beautiful demonstrations of the power of Truth, through my own understanding. At one time I had a fall which resulted in an injury to two ribs, but I was able to continue my housework within five minutes from the time of my fall. Three weeks after this time no one could have told that anything of the kind had ever happened. My husband's testimony of healing was published in the Sentinel of Feb. 1. 1908.
