Our critic says that the testimonials of physical healing...

Yonkers (N. Y.) Herald.

Our critic says that the testimonials of physical healing by Christian Science are, in the great majority of cases, entirely worthless. This statement is not fair either to the medical profession or to Christian Science. Few turn to Christian Science until after they have exhausted all hope of recovery through other systems. To say that these people had nothing the matter with them during the years they have been under the care of physicians, constitutes an arraignment of the medical profession which no Christian Scientist would make. Most physicians are humanitarians, deserving proper appreciation of their splendid efforts toward the amelioration of human suffering.

If this critic has not yet been able to understand Christian Science, he should not blame his failure on Mrs. Eddy, but should take heart from the thousands who have understood it, and try again.
