More than a million who have been lifted from beds...
Pueblo (Col.) Star-Journal
More than a million who have been lifted from beds of pain, loosened from bonds of sin and misery, would take issue with our critic's denouncement; would gladly and gratefully testify to physical, mental, and moral benefits received. The many who are daily blessed, comforted, and healed through its ministrations, are swelling the chorus of grateful ones who have harvested its fruit of good.
They have become convinced by irrefutable proofs that Christian Science is of God. It is bringing into their lives a greater faith, a higher understanding of God, a dearer and closer dependence upon the Father. It is awakening them from fear, bondage to sin in its myriad forms, and teaching them to rely on God for their every need. They have learned to know God as infinite, divine, all-tender Love, and they are persuaded with the apostle that "neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." They are therefore confident that no condemnation can hinder the establishment and progress of this sacred religion, this Science of Christianity.
