I had suffered for many years with several diseases which medicine did not cure, although my husband, who was a physician and had served as a surgeon during the Civil War, gave me his best efforts, besides calling to his aid in the case the best medical advice obtainable. Finally one of my fingers became diseased with what was pronounced a malignant affection, necessitating the removal of the bone. About this time our daughter was healed in Christian Science of a paralytic trouble which affects piano students, and she called my attention to this Science. I applied to this source for help, and had two treatments for the finger, not mentioning any other trouble. To my amazement, all of the old complaints also disappeared with these treatments. No language can express my thankfulness. I often feel grateful that I did not live a hundred years ago—before Christian Science was revealed.
