In gratitude to God for all the blessings which have come to me and mine through Christian Science, I gladly bear testimony. Seven years ago, when suffering from severe rheumatic trouble, a dear friend advised me to try Christian Science treatment. I rather laughingly consented, not understanding in the least what it was. I was also advised to tell the practitioner of a trouble in my foot of twelve years' duration. I had when a child seriously injured a bone in my foot, with the result that the least wrench would cause it to be exceedingly painful. Material remedies had never given any more than slight temporary relief. I promised to mention this to the Scientist, but said I did not believe anything could help that, as every one said this trouble would increase with age. I also had other physical ailments of less serious character. Imagine my joy when I found myself perfectly healed in less than a week's treatment by a faithful student of our beloved Leader. This practitioner advised me to study Science and Health, assuring me that it would indeed prove itself to be a "Key to the Scriptures," and that each one might find God a very present help.

Space will not permit me to enumerate the blessings we as a family have derived from Christian Science, but I would like to add that since my healing seven years ago our family of four has never in any way made use of material remedies, every manifestation of disease being quickly overcome through the prayer of understanding taught in our text-book. For the constant help received from our authorized literature, and for our church services, including the Sunday School, I take this opportunity to return thanks.
