In the September Christian Science Journal nearly one hundred pages are given up to a list of Christian Science churches and societies, and of practitioners, all over the world. Africa has two churches, in the Transvaal; there is one at Hongkong, China, and one at Manila, in the Philippines; Australia reports 4, and Europe has II—I in France, I in Holland, I in Norway, 2 in Switzerland, and 5 in Germany. In Great Britain and Ireland there are 43; in Scotland 3, in Wales I.

Taking the North American continent, there are 36 in Canada, 3 in Mexico, I in Panama. In the United States the churches and societies number as follows, by states: Alabama 4, Arizona 4, Arkansas 8, California 66, Colorado 34, Connecticut 16, Delaware, I, the District of Columbia I, Florida 10, Georgia 10, Idaho 14, Illinois 86, Indiana 42, Iowa 64, Kansas 46, Kentucky 7, Louisiana 6, Maine 19, Maryland 4, Massachusetts 47, Michigan 53, Minnesota 27, Mississippi 6, Missouri 25, Montana II, Nebraska 25, Nevada 4, New Hampshire 18, New Jersey 24, New Mexico 3, New York 78, North Carolina 7, North Dakota 4, Ohio 55, Oklahoma 19, Oregon 19, Pennsylvania 45, Rhode Island 5, South Carolina I, South Dakota 14, Tennessee 6, Texas 27, Utah 5, Vermont 10, Virginia 4, Washington 25, West Virginia 5, Wisconsin 40, Wyoming 3. There is one in the Hawaiian Islands. Argentina, in South America, reports one.
