I am longing to express something of the gratitude and love which fill my heart for all that Christian Science has done for me and mine. This truth has come to me slowly, but it is this very fact which may give courage to others. So slowly did I progress that at times I wondered if I had lost all which was so positive and uplifting; but I did not question long, for as each time of doubt passed, the truth shone more radiantly, and was demonstrated more fully than ever before.

A few years ago I broke down in health and fell into a state of mental depression, so that my family feared for my reason. A friend took me to consult a Christian Scientist, and after the first treatment I began to improve wonderfully. I immediately procured a copy of Science and Health, which has never left my side since, for the reading of it has changed my whole life, dispersing the clouds of gloom and fear and replacing them with the calm, strength, and happiness learned through Science and Health as the truth is gradually unfolded to me. My health and mental tone were quite restored, and since I have learned to trust the Giver of all good, many blessings have come to me. Thank God for this penetration unto spiritual things on the part of our dear Leader, who has opened our eyes to the truth and pointed out to us the way.
