That divine Truth heals was demonstrated to me when my little son, three years old, was bitten by a rattlesnake. We killed the snake and saved the rattles, which were four in number. The child was bitten about sundown. I sent a telegram to a Christian Science practitioner a hundred miles away, and held to the truth myself. The practitioner gave him absent treatment, and the first treatment did the work. The boy slept well all night, and by morning, although his little foot and leg were swollen so as to prevent his walking, he crawled around and played all day. The next morning he came out of the bedroom walking, and the only trace of the injury was just the mark of the bite and a slight swelling, with a blue ring around it, but there was not one particle of inflammation. No signs of the so-called poison have appeared since. God bless our Leader, who has shown us the way to live this blessed truth.—Mrs. Emma Scott, Gloster, Miss.
