That "one on God's side is a majority" was proven conclusively in our home some time ago, and we have ever felt grateful for the demonstration of Truth's power. One night as we were about to retire I went to the bedside of our only son, who was ten years of age. As I stooped down to draw the cover more closely around him, I saw that he was in an alarming condition. I caught him up and cried out, and this brought the family into the room. As the fear left me, I asked them to get Science and Health immediately and begin to read. In less than five minutes the child was perfectly quiet, and the family, except myself, were soon asleep. Another attack came on, but this time I did not cry out. I took hold of his hand, and these words in Isaiah came to me, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee." I realized so fully and clearly the omnipotence and the omnipresence of God that I had no fear. Immediately the child's hand relaxed its hold and he lay quiet. At noon next day he was perfectly well, happy, and free, romping and playing as usual.

I can never find words to express my gratitude for this demonstration of the truth. The boy has never had another attack. If our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, had never given us Science and Health, which teaches us that God is all and how to prove it, conditions would have been very different. This demonstration alone has shown me the value of Science and Health, to say nothing of the many other demonstrations we have had. Can any one wonder that we love our dear Leader, who has done so much for us? Surely she is blessed above all other women in having done so much for suffering humanity.
