I would like to add my grateful testimony to the many...
I would like to add my grateful testimony to the many others that go out weekly in the Sentinel and monthly in the Journal, and which I so much enjoy reading. One of my earliest recollections is of taking medicine, as I was not considered a healthy child. Later, a good share of my earnings went for doctors' bills and medicine, and nearly every year I would lose practically a month from my work on account of sickness. I was taking two or three kinds of medicine, but I laid them all aside when I began with Christian Science treatment, and after one week's treatment I was healed of material fever and other troubles. As I have kept up the study of Christian Science, and occasionally had help from a practitioner, I have never felt any need of drugs, nor have I lost a day from my work on account of sickness.
The text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," had been in our house some years before I was healed, but not having a copy of the Journal I was some time in ascertaining the address of a practitioner. Finally I obtained from the postmaster of Boston the address of The Christian Science Publishing Society and wrote them for information. They sent me a copy of the Journal, and from that I selected a practitioner. I am thankful to God for giving us this truth, and I am also grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her unselfish and untiring efforts to bear this message, the greatest blessing which has come to humanity since the days of Christ Jesus. May divine Love lead and protect her as she shows the world more and more of the truth through her life.
