I have been helped so often by the testimonies of others that it is but right I should express my gratitude. Many proofs of Love's protection of the children have come to us. A few months ago, I heard a scream from one of the children, and going into the room found a bee fastened so tightly under his chin that I had to draw it away. I took the child in my arms and began to voice the truth. One statement after another from Science and Health came to me, and in a few moments his cries stopped. When I again looked at him there was no visible sign of any sting beyond a tiny mark, and the truth had saved him from pain.

As I think over our blessings since knowing of Christian Science, I find that the telling would fill volumes. I am truly thankful to God for these blessings, and also grateful to Mrs. Eddy for pointing the way. For myself I am thankful, perhaps more than for anything else, for the uncovering of selfishness, self-righteousness, and a tendency to criticise others, and for learning of God as divine Love and that He provides for our welfare in all ways.
