LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

Boston, Mass., Oct. 11, 1907.

Dear Mrs. Eddy:—I am sure you will be interested in the enclosed cut of Mr. Fuller's painting, and in the article respecting it, which appeared in the New York Herald of Sept. 29. My heart is touched with the thought of all that will be accomplished in the world of art when the inspiring truths which you have so nobly framed give impulse and direction to creative talent.

Something came to me recently which you will appreciate. I have a friend who is browsing round among all sorts of ideas and people, and now and then he goes among the Spiritualists. Recently one of them said to him that Theodore Parker had communicated a message in a late seance, to wit: that "Christian Science is the coming religion"! This is pretty good for Theodore Parker, and it seems to be a decided improvement over his statement to which you have referred on page 80 of the "little book."
