It gives me great pleasure to tell what Christian Science has done for me. For four years I suffered terribly with a distressing eruption. I tried many different doctors and even went so far as to take a course of treatment in one of the best hospitals in Pittsburg, but all to no purpose. The pain was so severe that night after night I was forced to walk the streets. I went to a noted specialist on skin diseases and took treatment with him for thirteen months, but received no benefit. I had about given up all hope of ever becoming healed when a friend told me of his perience. He said he had suffered for four years with the same disease and that Christian Science had cured him. After much consideration, through his influence I reluctantly concluded to give Science a trial. I went to see a practitioner in this place and gave her a full statement of my case. After six weeks' treatment I was entirely healed and have never been troubled with the disease since, now about four years.

No human tongue can tell what Christian Science has done for me spiritually as well as physically, and my love and gratitude to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, is unbounded for her gift to the world of the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." Through the study of this book I have been enabled to gain a better understanding of the Bible than ever before and to realize something of what Jesus meant when he said, "This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God."
