It is over a year since a friend of my wife recommended Christian Science to us. This was a Jewish lady, who had been healed of rheumatism after suffering twelve years. I then had a complication of diseases,—indigestion. constipation. rheumatism. etc. I was healed of these, and also cured morally. The liquor habit was given up. also cigarette smoking. I had used them for about thirty years, and could not do without tobacco. I was the only member in my family who took Christian Science treatment. but my entire family. my wife and three children. were benefited by it. We have not used any medicine since I was healed, and we are all well and happy by knowing that divine Love who governs the entire universe governs us also. We have learned that Truth overcomes sin, disease, and death, and I am able by divine grace to make very convincing demonstrations, for which I thank God. I also thank Mrs. Eddy, and gladly recommend Christian Science to all who are in need of physical, moral, and mental healing. I am indeed grateful for "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our Leader, and for all the Christian Science literature.—S. NEWMAN. Brooklyn, N. Y.
