I was healed in Christian Science of a very severe case of poisoning of my right hand. The pain was almost beyond endurance before I had Christian Science treatment, and the appearance was very alarming. Every organ of the body seemed to be out of order. I telephoned for a practitioner to come, as I seemed in a very critical condition, and as soon as she received the call I was relieved in a measure. She came to me on Wednesday and stayed until Friday afternoon. While my hand was useless for several weeks, my general health was perfect. I slept soundly, and suffered no pain, although it was thought that my age was against my recovery, as I was sixty-five years old. Now, after another year, I am doing all my work on a farm. What a debt of love we owe to God, and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for Science and Health and all the publications of our Publishing Society.
