MRS. EDDY RECEIVED

Granted an Interview to Press Representatives at Noon To-day.

Concord Monitor

"No Physician" but God," She Replied to a Question Asked Her.

A representative of the Concord Evening Monitor was received by Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy at her home, Pleasant View, this noon. He met her face to face, heard her clear and lucid replies to important questions propounded to her, and was deeply impressed by a degree of mental and physical vigor remarkable in one who was born in our neighboring town of Bow in the year 1821.

The interview was granted in the double parlors on the east side of the ground floor at Pleasant View, the same room in which the same representative of the Monitor interviewed Mrs. Eddy, the same Mrs. Eddy, ten years ago. The impression made upon him then by her personality was strong and it was evident to him in a moment to-day, not only that the same woman was speaking that spoke then, but that the passing years had left wonderfully slight traces upon her.
