I am glad to add my testimony to those of many others...
I am glad to add my testimony to those of many others made happy by Christian Science. I was always considered very delicate and my father paid large doctor's bills for me during my childhood. As I grew to womanhood I did not improve. In 1890 I commenced to grow worse, and in 1898 I moved to a town where I could have the care of a skilful physician. He treated me almost three years, and it seemed as if I grew worse all the time. I asked him one day if I could not be cured, and said I was not afraid to die, as I had suffered so much. He told me that he could not cure me, that all he could do was to relieve me when I was suffering. In 1901 I first heard of Christian Science, and I was benefited so much in my first treatment that I could walk a mile,—something I had not done in several years, and the benefits continue to increase each day. I am thankful to God for giving us this truth. I am thankful to dear Mrs. Eddy for her sanctified life, and her wonderful love for the sick and the sinning. If it had not been for Christian Science as taught in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I would not be here to-day. It is indeed a wonderful book; and it does unlock the Bible.
I am thankful for my health, but I am more thankful for the spiritual help, for the love that I have for God and for everything that is good. I now have no sickness, and I have no hate. I am so thankful to our dear Leader for the understanding of Love.
Mrs. Henry Ida Malloney, Bond, Miss.
