I was brought to Christian Science many years ago through the healing of a friend. I was then using material remedies, but they had become a burden to me and I was glad to discard them. I suffered greatly from a severe pain in my right limb, so that I could not walk. I called a Christian Science practitioner and was relieved at once. I have been healed of many ailments, but the spiritual uplifting is far greater than the physical healing. The Bible and Science and Health are my daily companions. I am truly grateful to God, and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy; I am also thankful for the Sentinel and Journal.
