AMONG THE CHURCHES

For several years the Scientists of Eaton, O., have been holding services, and Oct. 5, 1906, papers were filed with the Secretary of State for the incorporation of First Church of Christ, Scientist. To-day we stand a chartered body with fourteen members. We are proving each day that God is our supply. We have had many splendid cases of healing here, for which our hearts are overflowing with gratitude to God, and to our dear Leader who has taught us the way.—Correspondence.

First Church of Christ, Scientist, is making plans to secure a permanent house of worship for itself by the first of the next year. The transfer of the Lippitt homestead at the corner of Hempstead and Granite Streets a few days ago to Edward S. Root was in fact a sale to the church, for whom Mr. Root was acting in the matter.
