In the midst of seemingly insurmountable troubles, we are brought nearer to God than ever before, and the bitter tear often brings with it gratitude for the obstacles which we all have to rise above, proving that the near and active truth is bringing us into the kingdom of heaven. I was healed of a disease pronounced incurable, and this brought me into Christian Science. My gratitude for the truth which has held me, and enabled me to work out of mental conditions before they had become physical, cannot be measured. This truth has sustained me for years, and made me appreciate our much revered Leader.
